I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor that is certified in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) from the Beck Institute. I have my associate degree from Longview Community College in Lee’s Summit, MO, two bachelor’s degrees in Psychology and Communication Studies from the University of Missouri Kansas City in Kansas City, MO, and one master’s degree in Counseling from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Kansas City, MO. Counseling is more of a passion than a job.
I prefer to use an eclectic approach to counseling. I work with children, adolescents, couples and adults of all ages both individually and as part of a family. I also merge psychotherapy, reality therapy, CBT, and many more approaches to help with each of my client’s needs as well as specializing in personality disorders, eating disorders, substance abuse, sexual addiction, anxiety, depression, trauma, and more.
It is my honor to be allowed into my client’s lives and I’m very much an advocate for all of us to live a more positive life. I would love the opportunity to be your personal advocate!
Sincerely, Krystina Erichsen
